By using the Michelson interferometer the wavelength of a laser was studied, obtaining a result of λ = (620.92 ± 37.92) nm. Using the Twyman-Green interferometer different surfaces were analysed. In the first part, different types of plastics were examined, such as flat or curved sheets of plastics, plastics with holes, scratches or folds. Using the same setup, the interference pattern of samples holders with different thicknesses and the plastic lenses of a no magnification glasses were also studied. Changing some parts of the setup, the fringes produced by different faces of a prism and by a plano-convex lens were also examined.
