abstract = {En este proyecto se pretenden aplicar modelos de IA generativa de imagen para rellenar los espacios vacíos de las pinturas de la cámara de Doña Sancha. Para ello, se utilizaron modelos disponibles públicamente como Stable Diffusion o análogos, y se realizó un entrenamiento particularizado de los mismos utilizando imágenes del mismo periodo y estilo que proporcionó el Museo de San Isidoro. Si bien no se conocen los autores exactos de las pinturas, que se supone son dos personas diferentes, sí que se podrá realizar “fine-tunning” particular con imágenes similares.
Respecto a los resultados obtenidos, estos se presentarán mediante unos paneles “de quita y pon” que imprimirá HP SCDS y permitirá ver los huecos rellenos sobre las pinturas originales de la cámara para exhibiciones concretas. Idealmente, se plantearon varias alternativas para cada uno de los huecos, y los conservadores del Museo ayudaron también a guiar el modelo generativo mediante los “prompts” adecuados, generando así las imágenes ajustadas a lo que se cree que puede ser la obra artística original.
Finalmente, para este proyecto el Museo de San Isidoro proporcionó imágenes de alta resolución de la Cámara que estarán sujetas a un acuerdo de no redistribución y sólo serán usadas por el alumno y sus tutores para la realización del proyecto.},
abstract = {In this project we intend to apply generative image AI models to fill in the empty spaces of the paintings of the chamber of Doña Sancha. For this purpose, publicly available models such as Stable Diffusion or analogues were used, and a particularized training of these models was carried out using images of the same period and style provided by the Museum of San Isidoro. Although the exact authors of the paintings are not known, which are supposed to be two different people, it will be possible to perform a particular finetunning with similar images.
Regarding the results obtained, these will be presented through “peel-and-stick” panels that HP SCDS will print and will allow you to see the filled holes on the original paintings of the camera for specific exhibitions. Ideally several aternatives were proposed for each of the gaps, and the Museum’s curators also helped guide the generative model through the appropiate propmpts, thus generating the images tha most closely match what is believed to be original artwork.
Finally, for this project the Museum of San Isidoro provided high resolution images of the camera tha will be subject to a non-redistribution agreement and will only be used by the student and their tutors for the implementation of the project.},
