abstract = {El entorno hospitalario es muy complejo y los avances tecnológicos no siempre van 
acompañados de un enfoque humanizador, el cual es fundamental para mejorar el bienestar y 
la salud de los pacientes pediátricos. 
Proporcionar el mejor diagnóstico y tratamiento posible no es suficiente para garantizar los 
estándares de calidad más altos durante la hospitalización de estos pacientes. Es fundamental 
complementarlos con estrategias de humanización que contribuyan a que tanto los niños como 
sus familias perciban el proceso hospitalario de la manera menos estresante posible. 
Brindar cuidados a niños enfermos hospitalizados y a sus familias implica ofrecer un trato 
cercano, empático y una comunicación efectiva, así como crear un ambiente hospitalario 
acogedor que atienda las necesidades específicas relacionadas con la edad y situación de los 
menores. Para lograr esto, se requiere la colaboración activa de los profesionales de la salud y 
la implementación de estrategias que fortalezcan el apoyo emocional y social, aborden las 
necesidades educativas y recreativas, y en última instancia promuevan el bienestar tanto del 
niño como de su familia.},
abstract = {The hospital environment is very complex, and technological advances are not always 
accompanied by a humanizing approach, which is essential for improving the well-being and 
health of pediatric patients.
Providing the best possible diagnosis and treatment is not enough to ensure the highest quality 
standards during the hospitalization of these patients. It is crucial to complement them with 
humanization strategies that help both children and their families to perceive the hospital 
process in the least stressful way possible.
Caring for sick hospitalized children and their families involves offering close, empathetic 
treatment and effective communication, as well as creating a welcoming hospital environment 
that addresses specific needs related to the age and situation of the minors. To achieve this, 
active collaboration among healthcare professionals is required, along with the implementation 
of strategies that strengthen emotional and social support, address educational and recreational 
needs, and ultimately promote the well-being of both the child and their family.},
