If the polarization properties of light are considered, then we have the Polarization-Sensitive OCT (PS-OCT). A new Mueller PS-OCT system, which acquires the full Mueller matrix of the sample, has been developed, providing a complete characterization of its polarization properties and obtaining real time images with a very high resolution.
