abstract = {RESUMEN: A lo largo de este trabajo se desarrollará uno de los aspectos más importantes de cualquier buque, el sistema contra incendios. El buque MT Monte Ulia será el objeto de estudio de este trabajo. El buque a estudiar es un tanquero que transporta crudo y sus derivados. Comenzaremos planteando el problema a tratar. Este problema lo formularemos en forma de pregunta; ¿Esta el buque MT Monte Ulia adaptado a la normativa en cuanto a el sistema contra incendios del que dispone a bordo? Una vez respondida esta pregunta, se planteará una nueva; ¿Esta el buque MT Monte Ulia preparado para combatir cualquier tipo de incendio? Esta segunda pregunta está más orientada al plano subjetivo, donde tratare de elaborar, según mi criterio, una respuesta bien justificada. Para responder a las preguntas presentadas se dará una pequeña explicación, para poner al lector en contesto. Hecho esto, se pasará a desarrollar todos los elementos contra incendios con los que cuenta el barco. Tanto los destinados para atacar al fuego, como los destinados a proteger la salud de la tripulación. Para el desarrollo de estos elementos yo, como alumno de puente del MT Monte Ulia, he desarrollado un trabajo de campo sobre el propio buque e indagado en los manuales de los aparatos y en distintas fuentes que me han aportado información al respecto. Una vez se conozcan los elementos que se encuentran a bordo, durante la parte de conclusiones, se responderá a la primera pregunta. Para esto se cogerá la normativa y se realizará una comparación con lo expuesto durante el desarrollo. Llegando a la conclusión de que el buque si está adaptado a la normativa requerida en todas sus normas. Finalmente, se tratará de responder a la última pregunta. Para esto, antes de dar una respuesta global, se analizarán algunas de las salas más importantes del buque, observando si cada una de ellas están preparadas para contrarrestar la aparición de un fuego. Una vez separada la tarea en distintas salas, se concluirá con una aportación subjetiva sobre si el barco globalmente es capaz de actuar contra cualquier tipo de fuego. Obteniendo una respuesta final para esta segunda pregunta, siendo que sí, el buque está más que preparado para contrarrestar cualquier tipo de incendio.},
abstract = {ABSTRACT: Throughout this work, one of the most important aspects of any ship, the fire system, will be developed. The ship MT Monte Ulia will be the object of study of this work. For the development of these elements I, as a bridge student of the MT Monte Ulia, have developed a field work on the ship itself and investigated the manuals of the devices and different sources that have provided me with information on the matter. Once the elements that are on board are known, during the conclusions part, the first question will be answered. For this, the regulations will be taken and a comparison will be made with what was exposed during the development. Concluding that the ship is adapted to the regulations required in all its regulations. Finally, we will try to answer the last question. For this, before giving a global answer, some of the most important rooms of the ship will be analyzed, observing if each one of them is prepared to counteract the appearance of a fire.
