Introducción: La rehabilitación respiratoria ha empezado a tener un aumento de 
interés que está relacionado con la mejora sustancial en los pacientes derivados 
al servicio. Se incluyen enfermedades como enfermedad pulmonar obstructiva 
crónica (EPOC), fibrosis quística y enfermedad pulmonar intersticial difusa
(EPID), aunque el abordaje terapéutico podría llegar a un ámbito mucho mayor.
Tiene una gran importancia tanto la elaboración de estos programas, como el 
mantenimiento y educación de los pacientes incluidos.
Objetivos: evaluar la calidad de la rehabilitación respiratoria, identificar áreas de 
mejora en los programas de rehabilitación respiratoria y comparar los resultados. 
Materiales y métodos: se llevó a cabo mediante una encuesta que se distribuyó 
a todos los hospitales y centros del sistema nacional de salud entre los meses 
de Enero de 2020 y Marzo de 2021.
Resultados y conclusión: se muestra que la implantación de la rehabilitación 
respiratoria está muy distante de lo que debería ser considerando para su 
eficacia y existe un desequilibrio geográfico muy marcado tanto en la forma de 
realización como en infraestructuras.},

Introduction: Respiratory rehabilitation has begun to have an increase in interest 
that is related to the substantial improvement in patients referred to the service. 
Diseases such as COPD, cystic fibrosis and ILD are included, although the 
therapeutic approach could reach a much broader scope. The development of 
these programs, as well as the maintenance and education of the included 
patients, is of great importance.
Objectives: to evaluate the quality of respiratory rehabilitation, to identify areas 
for improvement in respiratory rehabilitation programs and to compare the results.
Materials and methods: it was carried out through a survey that was distributed 
to all hospitals and centers of the national health system between the months of 
January 2020 and March 2021.
Results and conclusion: it is shown that the implementation of respiratory 
rehabilitation is very far from what it should be considering its effectiveness and 
that there is a very marked geographical imbalance both in the way it is carried 
out and in infrastructures.},
