@conference{10902/2423, year = {2011}, month = {5}, url = {http://hdl.handle.net/10902/2423}, abstract = {A hybrid Erbium-Brillouin fiber laser sensor to measure the temperature along 22 km fiber is proposed and experimentally demonstrated. A multi-line laser oscillation is induced by the Brillouin gain of different concatenated transducer fiber sections placed in the ring cavity. Integral temperature measurements of each fiber section are obtained through each laser line. This sensor can be used to monitor the temperature of off-shore wind energy power cables.}, organization = {The authors would like to acknowledge the support provided by the Spanish CICYT through the project TEC2007-67987-C02 and TEC2010-20224-C02, European COST-299 action and Liekkis’ fibers.}, publisher = {SPIE Society of Photo-Optical Instrumentation Engineers}, publisher = {Proceedings of SPIE, 2011, vol. 7753, 775324}, publisher = {21st International Conference on Optical Fiber Sensors, Ottawa, 2011}, title = {Long integral temperature Brillouin sensor for off- shore wind energy power supply lines}, author = {Quintela Incera, María Ángeles and Ullán Nieto, Ángel and Quintela Incera, Antonio and Galíndez Jamioy, Carlos Augusto and Pérez Herrera, Rosa Ana and López Amo, Manuel and López Higuera, José Miguel}, }
