abstract = {RESUMEN: El objetivo de este trabajo es identificar y analizar los procesos clave que realiza Industrias Hergóm S.L. detectando los diversos aspectos susceptibles de mejora que la empresa presenta para plantear posibles actuaciones que fomenten la mejora continua. Para poder alcanzar el objetivo del trabajo, en primer lugar, se presentan los datos generales de la empresa y cómo ésta ha ido adaptando su cartera de productos a lo largo de los últimos años para dar respuesta a la demanda de los distintos tipos de clientes. A continuación, a través del mapa de procesos, se identifican los procesos clave que se dan en la empresa y se analizan realizando sus flujogramas, conociendo secuencialmente las actividades que conforman cada proceso. Gracias al análisis de los procesos y la información aportada por la empresa, pueden determinarse dos cuestiones que han de subsanarse. Por un lado, se detecta un cuello de botella en los talleres de transformaciones a causa del aumento de pedidos de fundido exterior y el incremento de producción en fundición que se ha dado para satisfacer las necesidades del mercado. Este hace que el almacén de producto semiterminado por rebarbar esté sobresaturado y que se dé un exceso de manipulaciones de materiales en ubicaciones. Por otro lado, se detecta un fallo en la aplicación del FIFO en el sistema de almacenamiento que imposibilita la trazabilidad de los materiales desde su origen en fundición. Para subsanar dichas cuestiones se plantean tres propuestas de mejora: La mejora del proceso interno ampliando la capacidad de transformaciones, apostando por la producción continua buscando el stock cero. En caso continuar empleando subcontratación, reducir el exceso de manipulaciones a través del uso de un camión de gran capacidad que requiera menos turnos de cargas y descargas de materiales, pudiendo optimizar las rutas logísticas. Además, se plantea integrar en el etiquetado de los materiales la fecha de colada.
 
ABSTRACT: The purpose of this work is to identify and analyze the key processes carried out by Industrias Hergóm S.L., detecting various aspects that are susceptibles of improvement that the company presents in order to propose possible actions that promote continuous improvement. In order to achieve the objective of the work, first, the general data of the company and how the company has been adapting its product portfolio over the last few years to respond to the demand of the different types of customers is presented. Next, through the process map, the key processes that occur in the company are identified and analyzed by carrying out their flow charts, knowing sequencedly the activities that make up each process. Thanks to the analysis of the processes and the information provided by the company, two issues that must be corrected can be determined. On the one hand, a bottleneck is detected in the transformation workshops due to the increase in orders for external cast and the increase in cast production that has been given to satisfy the needs of the market. This provoques that the warehouse of semi-finished product by deburring to be oversaturated and provoques also an excess of material handling in locations. On the other hand, a failure is detected in the use of the FIFO system in the storage that makes it impossible to trace the materials from their origin in the foundry. To correct issues that were explained, three proposals for improvement are raised: The improvement of the internal process by expanding the capacity for transformations, pretendig to achieve continuous production, looking for stock 0. If the company continues to use subcontracting, the reduction of the excess of handlings through the use of a large capacity truck that would require less loads and downloads of materials, being able to optimize the logistics routes. In addition, it is proposed to integrate the casting date into the labeling of the materials.},
