abstract = {RESUMEN: El objetivo de este trabajo es descubrir cuál ha sido la repercusión de la pandemia generada por la Covid 19 en el sector turístico realizando una comparativa entre la situación del sector a nivel nacional y regional, Cantabria.
De una forma más específica, para dar cumplimento al objetivo planteado, este TFG ha analizado una amplia variedad de fuentes secundarias de información y se ha estructurado en dos grandes bloques. El primero de ellos realiza una comparación de la situación pre-covid, desde el 2015 al 2019, con la situación post-covid, durante el 2020, tanto a nivel nacional como a nivel regional del sector turístico en general. La segunda parte realiza un análisis y comparación más concreta de una parte del sector turístico, centrada en el estudio de los hoteles y alojamientos rurales, igualmente a nivel nacional y a nivel regional entre los años 2019 y 2020.
Los resultados del análisis efectuado han permitido determinar que, la tendencia de los datos económicos del sector a nivel nacional desde el 2015 hasta antes de la pandemia iban en crecimiento, aunque con algún altibajo. En Cantabria desde el 2015 se habían conseguido también mantener con tendencia positiva variables como el empleo, el PIB, entre otras.
Asimismo se concluye que Cantabria se ha visto menos afectada por esta pandemia de lo que se ha visto el sector a nivel nacional. Esto es debido a que la pérdida de turismo internacional se ha visto compensada por la tendencia del turismo nacional a permanecer en España y por su preferencia hacia la zona norte de la Península incluida nuestra región.
En cuanto al tipo de alojamiento, los alojamientos rurales han sido los que se han visto más favorecidos a pesar de la situación de pandemia en la que nos encontramos.},
abstract = {ABSTRACT: The objective of this work is to discover what has been the impact of the pandemic generated by the Covid 19 in the tourism sector making a comparison between the situation of the sector at national and regional level, Cantabria.
In a more specific way, to fulfill the objectives, this TFG has analyzed a wide variety of secondary sources of information and has been structured in two large blocks. The first of them makes a comparison of the pre-covid situation, from 2015 to 2019, with the post-covid situation, during 2020, both at the national and regional level of the tourism sector in general. The second part makes a more concrete analysis and comparison of a part of the tourism sector, focused on the study of hotels and rural accommodation, also at the national and regional level between the years 2019 and 2020.
The results of the analysis carried out have allowed to determine that, the trend of the economic data of the sector at the national level from 2015 until before the pandemic were growing, although with some ups and downs. In Cantabria since 2015, variables such as employment, GDP, among others, had also been maintained with a positive trend.
It is also concluded that Cantabria has been less affected by this pandemic than the sector has been at the national level. This is because the loss of international tourism has been compensated by the tendency of national tourism to remain in Spain and by its preference towards the northern part of the Peninsula including our region.
In terms of the type of accommodation, rural accommodation has been the ones that have been most favored despite the pandemic situation in which we find ourselves.},
