OBJETIVO: Determinar la incidencia de lesiones cutáneas relacionadas con la dependencia que aparecen en una unidad de cuidados intensivos polivalente. ➢ METODOLOGÍA: Estudio descriptivo, prospectivo y longitudinal que se llevará a cabo con pacientes ingresados en la UCI del Hospital Universitari d’Igualada (Cataluña) durante los años 2021 y 2022. Los sujetos de estudio serán las personas con ingreso en dicha unidad con una estancia en la misma superior a 24 horas y se estudiarán hasta su salida de la unidad. ➢ PLAN DE TRABAJO: Previa aceptación del estudio por el comité de ética y recerca del mismo hospital se iniciará la recogida de datos desde el mes de octubre de 2021 y hasta el mes de setiembre de 2022 para obtener la muestra deseada. El investigador principal del estudio se encargará de la recogida de datos demográficos y características de la muestra. Un equipo de enfermeros (con una formación que se les realizará previamente) serán los encargados del seguimiento diario de los pacientes y realizarán el registro y control de las LCRD que aparezcan. Una vez recogidos los datos, se realizará un análisis de todas las variables mediante un programa estadístico para así obtener datos que permitirán obtener conclusiones sobre la incidencia, prevalencia de LCRD en la unidad para posteriormente poder implementar protocolos de mejora.},

AIM: determine the incidence of dependency-related skin lesions (DRSL) that appear in a multipurpose intensive care unit. ▪ METHODOLOGY: Descriptive, prospective and longitudinal study that will be carried out with patients admitted to the ICU of the Hospital Universitari d'Igualada (Catalonia) during the years 2021 and 2022. The study subjects will be the people admitted to said unit with an entry into the same for more than 24 hours and until leaving the unit. ▪ WORK PLAN: After acceptance of the study by the ethics and research committee of the same hospital, the investigation will begin in October 2021 and until October 2022 to obtain the desired sample. The principal investigator of the study will be in charge of the collection of demographic data and characteristics of the sample. A team of nurses (with training that will be carried out previously) will be in charge of the daily monitoring of the patients and will carry out the registration and control of the DRSL that appear. Once the data has been collected, an analysis of all the variables will be carried out using a statistical program in order to obtain data that will allow to obtain conclusions about the incidence and prevalence of LCRD in the unit in order to subsequently implement improvement protocols.},
