abstract = {RESUMEN: El presente proyecto hace referencia a la evolución de la certificación Q de valor en
establecimientos turísticos en la comunidad de Cantabria. Para este análisis, se tuvo en
cuenta la evolución del sector turístico a nivel a nacional, al igual que la demanda turística
en el sector hotelero por comunidades, teniendo en cuenta la importancia que tiene esta
área para la economía del país. Además, se analizó el concepto de la calidad desde una
perspectiva de servicios enfocada en el área de alojamientos turísticos para así
determinar cuáles son las certificaciones dirigidas a este sector. Para la recolección de la
información se utilizaron varias bases de datos como la del Instituto para la calidad
turística española y Statista. Otro aspecto relevante es la introducción de las nuevas
tecnologías en este sector donde el Internet juega, actualmente un papel fundamental en
el sector.},

touristic establishments in the Spanish province of Cantabria. For this analysis, it has been
carefully considered the growing advancement of the touristic sector on a national level,
same as the demand level on the hotel sector, taking into consideration the big impact
this industry has on the country’s economy. In addition, the concept of quality was
analyzed from a service perspective focused on the area of tourist accommodations in
