abstract = {RESUMEN:Los restos arqueológicos y el arte rupestre se pueden utilizar como recursos 
didácticos para obtener aprendizajes más significativos respecto al conocimiento 
de la historia del lugar (Ávila, Cruz y Díez, 2008).
Por ello, el presente trabajo ofrece una unidad didáctica que trata de dar 
respuesta a la escasa presencia de recursos educativos relativos a la etapa 
prehistórica en relación con los patrimonios históricos, culturales y naturales de 
la Comunidad Autónoma de Cantabria, más concretamente a las cuevas del 
Monte Castillo: El Castillo y Las Monedas. En ella se recogen actividades de 
preparación, visita y ampliación para el alumnado del tercer curso de Educación
