El embarazo es un periodo de inmunosupresión en la mujer debido a la necesidad de tolerancia del feto por parte del sistema inmunitario de la madre. Esto provoca que la mujer sea más vulnerable y por lo tanto susceptible de padecer enfermedades y complicaciones potencialmente graves. El aumento del número de epidemias en estas últimas décadas ha puesto el foco en la necesidad de mejorar las intervenciones de enfermería en este grupo considerado de riesgo, cuyos objetivos serán mejorar los conocimientos de las gestantes en relación con el cuidado de la salud, con el fin de lograr una correcta toma de decisiones que repercutirá de forma positiva en la salud materno-fetal. 
Este trabajo abordará, mediante una revisión sistemática, los cambios inmunológicos que se producen en el embarazo, así como los hábitos saludables que permiten fortalecer el sistema inmunitario durante la gestación. Además, se comentará de qué forma ha afectado la pandemia provocada por el SARS-CoV-2 a la salud maternal, así como las novedades acerca de la prevención de esta enfermedad gracias a la inmunidad que otorgan las vacunas},

Pregnancy is a immunosuppression period in women due to the need for tolerance of the fetus by the mother's immune system. This causes the woman to be more vulnerable therefore susceptible to diseases and potentially serious complications. The increasing number of epidemics the last decades has focused on the need to improve nursing interventions in this group considered at risk, whose objectives will be to improve the knowledge of pregnant women in relation to health care, in order to achieve correct decision-making that will have a positive impact on maternal-fetal health. 
This work will address, through a systematic review, the immunological changes that occur in pregnancy, as well as the healthy habits that allow strengthening the immune system during pregnancy. In addition, it will comment on how the pandemic caused by SARS-CoV-2 has affected maternal health, as well as the news about the prevention of this disease thanks to the immunity granted by vaccines.},
