abstract = {RESUMEN La enseñanza del inglés ha ido pasando por un sin fin de métodos a lo largo de
los siglos: el tradicional, el directo, etc. Tras el estudio de varios de ellos, se ha
llegado a la conclusión de que el método ideal es aquel que favorece la
comunicación. Para favorecer la comunicación se necesitará crear un ambiente
donde el alumnado se sienta cómodo y motivado, con el fin de que el aprendizaje
sea significativo y duradero. Por otro lado, varios autores afirman que es muy
importante empezar a enseñar una segunda lengua desde una edad muy
temprana para que ésta se adquiera con más facilidad. Si aunamos
comunicación, motivación y temprana edad, un recurso que no puede fallar es el
juego. Por ese motivo el presente documento tiene como objetivo demostrar la
conveniencia de utilizar el juego para facilitar la adquisición del vocabulario que
permita una comunicación en una segunda lengua, así como proponer diez
juegos que favorezcan la adquisición del vocabulario de una segunda lengua, en
este caso inglés, en el primer ciclo de la primera etapa de Educación Primaria.},

To make communication easier you need to develop an atmosphere where the
pupils feel comfortable and motivated, with the aim of a meaningful and long term
learning process. On the other hand, several authors claim that it is important to
start to teach a second language in the early years so it can be learnt more easily.
If we put together communication, motivation, and early age, one resource that
cannot be missed is “games”. It is for this reason that the objective of this
document is to prove the convenience of using games to facilitate the acquisition
of vocabulary that allows communication in a second language, as well as
proposing ten different games that will enrich second language acquisition, in this
case English, in the first years of elementary school.},
