abstract = {RESUMEN: Este trabajo fin de grado parte de una reflexión personal sobre cómo se lleva a cabo
desde hace años el aprovechamiento turístico de los lugares singulares de Cantabria.
En efecto, hemos podido observar actuaciones al respecto poco acordes con lo que nos
parece que se merece una provincia tan atractiva como es Cantabria. Los valles
pasiegos son sin duda alguna una zona que requiere una atención esmerada teniendo
en cuenta su idiosincrasia: un paisaje, un modo de vida estrechamente ligado al mismo,
siendo éste último parte de la memoria colectiva de los lugareños, pese a haber dejado
de existir como tal. Pretendemos analizar las posibilidades de potenciar turísticamente
este patrimonio natural y etnológico dentro de un enfoque sostenible y a la vez
provechoso para la economía local, términos que no han de ser antagónicos sino todo
lo contrario.
Trata pues de abordar la explotación turística en el tiempo presente y futuro de los
múltiples elementos existentes tales como son el entorno natural, el modo de habitarlo,
la gastronomía ligada a la actividad ganadera, así como las actuaciones pasadas no
directamente relacionadas con el turismo pero que sin embargo tienen un potencial
interesantísimo al respecto (conexión Cantabria-Burgos, túnel de la Engaña)
En definitiva, hablamos de la posibilidad de intervenciones sobre lo existente que
redunden en un desarrollo económico sostenible previniendo el despoblamiento rural.},
abstract = {ABSTRACT: This Dissertation is born of a personal reflection on how the touristic use of the unique
places of Cantrabria has been carried out for years. In fact, we have been able to
observe performances in this sense that are not in line with what we think who
deserves a province as attractive like Cantabria.
Los Valles Pasiegos are undoubtedly an area that requires a careful attention taking
into account its idiosyncrasies : a landscape, a way of life closely linked to it, the latest,
part of the collective memory of the locals , despite having ceased to exist as such .
We aim to analyze the possibilities of touristically enhancing this natural and
ethnological heritage within a sustainable approach and at the same time beneficial to
the local economy, terms that should not be antagonistic but quite the opposite.
It therefore seeks to takcle the tourism exploitation in the present and future time of
the many existing elements such as the natural environment, the way it is inhabit,
gastronomy linked to livestock activity, as well as past performances not directly
related to tourism but they have a very interesting potential about this (Cantabria-
Burgos connection, Engaña tunnel)
In short, we are talking about the possibility of interventions above how is existing
resulting in sustainable economic development preventing rural depopulation.},
