abstract = {RESUMEN: El turismo y la arqueología son dos realidades estrechamente relacionadas desde sus inicios.
En los últimos años, el turismo está creciendo a un ritmo tan vertiginoso que han comenzado
a explorarse nuevas formas de turismo. En este marco, su combinación con la arqueología ha
dado lugar al arqueoturismo o turismo arqueológico. En el caso de este estudio, nos
centraremos en el desarrollo del turismo arqueológico en Cantabria. El objetivo de este trabajo
es, principalmente, realizar un análisis de la situación del arqueoturismo en la región para lo
que se llevará a cabo una recopilación y descripción de los atractivos arqueoturísticos
explotados. Este análisis preliminar nos permitirá abordar los principales retos que enfrenta
esta modalidad turística en nuestra comunidad: la plena integración de la tecnología y su
promoción en combinación con otras propuestas turísticas tales como el turismo de naturaleza.},
abstract = {ABSTRACT: Tourism and archaeology are two close realities from their very beginnings. In the last few
years, tourism is growing so fast that new touristic modalities are being continuously explored.
Its combination with archaeological science has given as a result the emergence of
archaeotourism or archaeological tourism. Along these pages, we will focus on the
development of archaeological tourism in Cantabria. The main goal of this research is to
analyze the current situation of archaeotourism in this autonomous region. In order to do so,
we will compile and describe the main archaeological attractions. This analysis will allow us to
explain the most important challenges that this new modality of tourism must face in the
region: the plain integration of technology and its combination with other touristic proposals
