abstract = {RESUMEN: El objetivo en este Trabajo Fin de Grado es el análisis de la subcontratación en el sector de Automoción en Cantabria. Para ello nos hemos puesto en contacto con diversas empresas pertenecientes a este sector con el fin de que nos pudieran facilitar su visión en relación a esta temática a través de sus respuestas a una encuesta. La encuesta, concretamente, está enfocada en las principales ventajas e inconvenientes de la subcontratación.
A través de las encuestas, conocimos que las actividades subcontratadas por las empresas de este sector son la fabricación troqueles y transformados metálicos, verificación, manipulación, mecanizado y ajuste, repuestos de automóviles y servicios de limpieza. Respecto a las ventajas e inconvenientes ofrecidos en las encuestas a las empresas, estas destacaron como mayores ventajas el hecho de transformar los costes fijos en costes variable y el aumento de la productividad derivada de la mayor especialización. Por el contrario, los mayores inconvenientes de esta práctica la reflejaron en mayor coste y la necesidad de un periodo de adaptación entre la empresa principal y la subcontratada
A su vez, en la elaboración de este trabajo, se ha podido conocer de una manera más detallada el sector automovilístico a nivel nacional y regional, como ha evolucionado el mercado en los últimos años a nivel de ventas, cifras de empleabilidad y participación del mismo en el PIB nacional, así como el objetivo por parte del Cluster automovilístico GIRA de alcanzar para este año 2019 el 30% del PIB local.},
abstract = {ABSTRACT: The goal in this Final Degree Project is the analysis of subcontracting in the Automotive sector in Cantabria. To do this we have contacted several companies of this sector in order to provide us with their vision in relation to this issue through their responses to a survey. The survey, specifically, is focused on advantages and disadvantages of subcontracting.
Through the surveys, we learned that the activities subcontracted by the companies in this sector are the manufacture of metal dies and transformers, verification, handling, mechanization and adjustment, auto spare parts and cleaning services. Regarding the advantages and disadvantages offered in the surveys for companies, they highlighted as best advantages the fact of transforming the fixed costs into variable costs and the increase of the productivity derived from the greater specialization. On the contrary, the major disadvantage of this practice were reflected in higher costs and the need for a period of adaptation between the main company and the subcontracted company.
At the same time, in the elaboration of this work, it has been possible to know in a more detailed way the automotive sector at national and regional level, as the market has evolved in the last years in terms of sales, employability figures and participation of the same in the national PIB, as well as the objective of the GIRA automobile cluster to reach 30% of the local PIB for 2019.},
