abstract = {RESUMEN: El objetivo de este trabajo es comprender el núcleo protestante germinado en la Sevilla del siglo XVI y que, junto con Valladolid, constituyen los dos grandes focos de luteranismo en la España de inicios de la Edad Moderna. Para ello analizaremos los precedentes que introducen en la ciudad hispalense las ideas heréticas desde finales del siglo XV e inicios del XVI, la difusión y práctica de las mismas y, sobre todo, centraremos este estudio en la persecución del Santo Oficio al protestantismo y a los protestantes, en los diversos autos de fe que se celebraron en Sevilla durante el siglo XVI. El fin de este estudio es, por tanto, arrojar luces sobre el foco protestante sevillano, mucho menos estudiado que el vallisoletano, y del que presenta diferencias sustanciales. Para ello nos apoyaremos en bibliografía básica para el estudio de la Inquisición y los protestantes en el siglo XVI, y en lo fundamental de cuanto hay publicado sobre núcleo sevillano, además de trabajar con procesos a protestantes sevillanos que nos sirvan como ilustración y explicación (documentación ya transcrita y publicada, procedente de fondos depositados en el AHN que no han sido trabajados).},
abstract = {ABSTRACT: The goal of this paper is to comprehend the protestant core that grew in the Sixteen Century Seville and which, alongside Valladolid, made up the two biggest focal point of Lutheranism in the begining of Modern Age Spain. In order to do so the precedents introducing the heretic ideas in Seville from the end of the Fifteen Century and the beginning of the Sixteen century, their diffusion and practice, will be analysed. Above all, this sstudy will be focused on the Holy Offices persecution of Protestantim and Protestants and on the several autos de fe taken place un Sevilla during the Sixteen Century. The aim of this study, thus, is to sine a light upon the Sevillian Protestatism focal point, much less studied than that of Valladolid and with which has several differences. So as to achieve this, this research will be based on basic bibliography for the study of the Inquisition and Protestantism in the Sixteen Century as well as the essential publications on the Sevillian core. Moreover, trials to Sevillian Protestant will serve as example ad explanation (already transcript and published documentation, located on the national Historical Archive yet to be worked on).},
