The purpose of this one is to model and optimize the geometry of four different models of bike frames available in the market. The project is divided into two segments: design, and stress analysis and optimization. The first consists on the creation of the bike frames in CATIA V5® from the data that the different brands give of their bike geometries. These bike frames must have their nine variables parameterized, in order to be able to change them in a determined range. The next step is to perform the stress analysis under an external force using also the program CATIA V5® and, by coupling with the multi objective optimization program Mode FRONTIER 2017®, to find out what is the bike frame design with the optimal stress to weight ratio.}, title = {Stress Optimization of Bike Frames}, author = {Brión Fraile, Juan and Recasens, David}, }
