abstract = {RESUMEN Las nuevas tecnologías, están teniendo un indudable impacto en la escuela y en la forma de impartir las asignaturas, en este sentido, la Geografía debe ser capaz de adaptarse a los nuevos tiempos tecnológicos, sino quiere quedar aún más relegada de los programas escolares. Para lograr esta adaptación tecnológica de la Geografía en la escuela, es interesante tener en cuenta por parte de los docentes de esta disciplina las nuevas corrientes geográficas, especialmente, la NeoGeografía.
Es fundamental llevar a cabo en el aula propuestas y planteamientos novedosos, a través de propuestas didácticas a fin de conseguir motivar a los alumnos y transmitir a la comunidad educativa y a la sociedad en general que la Geografía tiene mucho que aportar al alumnado tanto el ámbito académico, como en el personal y profesional, en la sociedad actual de la información y de la comunicación.},
