For this, a didactic approach has been developed using comics as a reading tool throughout a school year, aimed for 5th grade students without previous knowledge of the French language. The goal is to work on the reading proficiency through reading comics, doing activities to assess the level of understanding of the students, and at the same time serves them to develop the analysis ability relating images with texts, in order to the student interprets by himself the meaning of words, learn how to work both as a team and alone and enjoy reading comics.
