In order to achieve these goals, KIKS project has popularized the STEAM-concept by projects based on the students inspiring other students-approach and by utilizing new technologies, tools, open educational resources, and everyday items and materials. Through the students-inspiring-other-students-approach, we have aimed to get participating students developing STEAM activities for other students in their own local context and in a wider European physical and virtual community. English, Finnish, Hungarian and Spanish children were participating in the project.}, organization = {This work has been funded by the international KIKS project (Kids Inspire Kids for STEAM) within the Erasmus + programme (15/0100-ka2se/13611).}, publisher = {Claremont Colleges Library}, publisher = {The STEAM journal, Volume 3, Issue 1, November 2017, Article 21}, title = {Kids inspire kids for STEAM}, author = {Fenyvesi, Kristof and Houghton, Tony and Diego Mantecón, José Manuel and Crilly, Elizabeth and Oldknow, Adrian and Lavicza, Zsolt and Fernández Blanco, Teresa}, }
