abstract = {RESUMEN En el presente trabajo se pretende realizar un modesto análisis del nivel de
competencia matemática de distintos cursos de la ESO y Bachillerato. Se trata
de comprobar el nivel de competencia matemática para la vida cotidiana que
poseen los estudiantes de un centro educativo de la provincia de Cantabria.
Para ello se proponen unos problemas relacionados con la vida cotidiana y se
analizan los resultados obtenidos. También se busca saber el nivel de
competencia matemática que tienen los compañeros del Máster en Formación
del Profesorado de Educación Secundaria a través de otra pequeña prueba.},

Education) and High School Diploma. It is a question of verifying the level of
mathematical competence for the daily life that the students of an educational

related to daily life are proposed and the results obtained are analyzed. It also
seeks to know the level of mathematical competence that the fellows of the
