abstract = {RESUMEN: Gracias al avance de la tecnología a lo largo de los años, se han desarrollado múltiples técnicas aplicadas en el ámbito de la ingeniería biomédica. Aunque durante mucho tiempo la utilidad de la electroencefalografía ha sido puesta en duda, a día de hoy el uso del análisis cuantitativo (qEEG) proporciona resultados prometedores en la detección y diagnóstico de patologías. El objetivo principal de este trabajo fin de grado es el estudio de enfermedades neurodegenerativas en su estado inicial gracias al uso de la electroencefalografía. Por esta razón, por una parte se abordarán los conocimientos sobre la fisiología cortical y los fundamentos de la electroencefalografía cuantitativa. Por otra parte, puesto que hoy en día el aprendizaje sobre las diferentes enfermedades neurodegenerativas es de vital importancia, estudiaremos en su estadio inicial diferentes tipos de enfermedades neurodegenerativas y la aplicación tanto de algoritmos como de biomarcadores utilizados en su detección y diagnóstico.},
abstract = {ABSTRACT: Thanks to advances in technology over the years, many techniques have been developed in the field of biomedical engineering. Although the usefulness of electroencephalography has been questioned, the use of quantitative analysis (qEEG) provides promising results in the detection and diagnosis of pathologies. The main objective of this project is the study of neurodegenerative diseases in their initial state thanks to the use of electroencephalography. For this reason, on the one hand will tackle the knowledge on cortical physiology and the fundamentals of quantitative electroencephalography. On the other hand, since learning about the different neurodegenerative diseases is of vital importance, we will study in its initial stage different types of neurodegenerative diseases and the application of both algorithms and biomarkers used in its detection and diagnosis.},
