abstract = {La enfermedad psoriásica o psoriasis es una enfermedad cutánea crónica, relativamente frecuente, que habitualmente afecta a otros órganos. En este trabajo se ha realizado una revisión bibliográfica de los datos epidemiológicos, sus múltiples factores etiológicos, los aspectos clínicos y anatomopatológicos, finalizando con la patogenia y el tratamiento de la misma.
Se ha hecho especial hincapié en el papel que el sistema inmune juega en el desencadenamiento de la psoriasis, centrándonos en los nuevos descubrimientos de las vías implicadas en la inmunopatogenia de esta enfermedad: entre ellas destacamos factores celulares (células dendríticas, neutrófilos, linfocitos, queratinocitos…) y múltiples citocinas (TNFα, IFNγ, IL-23…)
Los recientes conocimientos adquiridos sobre la inmunopatogenia de la psoriasis han conducido al desarrollo de nuevos fármacos dirigidos de forma selectiva contra distintas dianas biológicas, tanto celulares como moleculares. Estos tratamientos están consiguiendo relevantes éxitos terapéuticos, lo que está permitiendo mejor notablemente el pronóstico y la calidad de vida de los individuos que padecen formas severas de esta enfermedad.},
abstract = {The psoriasis is a chronic cutaneous illness, relatively frequent, that normally affects other organs. In this paper, it has been made a bibliographic review of the epidemiology o epidemiological data, its multiple etiological factors, the clinical and anatomopathological aspects, ending up addressing the pathogenesis and the treatment.
In all of this, we focused on the important role of the immune system in the illness, emphasizing on the new discoveries about the pathways involved in the inmunopathogenesis of the psoriasis: among them we could highlight the cell factors (dendritic cells, neutrophils, keratinocyte…) and multiple cytokines (TNFα, IFNγ, IL-23…)
These new discoveries about the inmunopathogenesis of psoriasis lead to the development of new drugs, which aim at specific biological targets. These treatments are achieving remarkable therapeutic successes; all of this allows us to improve the prognosis and life quality of people with this illness.},
